About PadalaCompare

PadalaCompare is the first dedicated comparison tool for balikbayan box shipping rates. We help Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) and Filipinos abroad compare forwarder rates, verify BOC accreditation, and avoid scam operators.

Why We Built This

In 2025-2026, 54,000 balikbayan boxes were abandoned at Philippine ports. P330 million in OFW payments were lost. 11 forwarders were suspended by the Bureau of Customs. Families waited months — some years — for boxes that never arrived.

We built PadalaCompare because every OFW deserves to know exactly what they are paying, who they are trusting, and whether their forwarder is legitimate — before handing over their hard-earned money.

How It Works

We collect and compare shipping rates from BOC-accredited forwarders across major OFW corridors. Every forwarder listing shows their accreditation status, rates, delivery times, and any warnings or suspensions.

Independence

PadalaCompare is independent. We are not affiliated with any forwarder, the Bureau of Customs, or any government agency. Our goal is to give OFWs the information they need to make safe, informed shipping decisions.
